Robot Automation From Around The World.
The average Robot density has hit a new global record of 113 units per 10,000 employee’s, Western Europe has 225 units followed by the Nordic European countries with 204 units followed by North America 153 units and finally South East Asia with 119 units.
The world’s top ten Robot automated countries are Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, USA followed by Belgium and USA. The country that holds the highest robots density by far is Singapore with 918 units per 10,000 employee’s in 2019. The electronics industry is the primary customer of industrial robots in Singapore.
Korea is the market leader in LCD and memory chip manufacturing with companies such as Samsung and LG on top. Japan and Germany rank third and fourth, Japan being the world’s most predominant Robot manufacturing company where it is said, even Robots are used in the assembly of other robots. The electronics Industry, automotive and metal and machine industries being the most predominant.
Germany has the largest Robots market in Europe with 38% of Robots being used in factories. Robot density in the German automotive industry is amongst the highest in the world. The employment in this particular sector rose considerably and continuously from 720,000 in 2010 to 850,000 in 2019.
The US car market was again the second largest Car market in the world, both the USA and china are considered highly competitive markets for Car manufacturers worldwide.
China’s Robot density in the manufacturing Industry ranks 15th Worldwide and China is also a major producer of electronic devices, semiconductors and microchips.
The UK has a Robot density below the world average of 74 units ranking just 22nd. The general industry is in desperate need of investment in order to modernize and increase productivity.
